"You have no idea how much I love you. No idea how deep it goes." So Christopher Andrus sings unabashedly about his muse: the universal language of music. Andrus has worked tirelessly to craft a heartfelt indie rock sound that has earned the respect of his peers and critics alike. While sharing similarities with bands like Kings of Leon and The Killers, the originality of Andrus' songwriting has been the driving force behind his success thus far.
Lyrically honest and emotionally inspiring, Andrus' music is a tour de force - it cuts through the mix of often forgettable pop music and resonates with an audience eager for genuine expression. Perhaps this ability to connect with listeners led The Grand Rapids Press to label Andrus "one of the most promising songwriters on the Michigan music scene today."
Christopher Andrus has toured the US five times in support of his four independent releases. He's filmed national television appearances in Times Square, busked in Austin, headlined Midwest music festivals, and recorded in the NYC subway. His sound recently caught the attention of multi-platinum producers John Kurzweg and Jim DeVito, with whom he signed a production/development agreement in early 2009.
