you know the catcher in the rye? baffled me for a long time now why I even quoted a section in that book for my grad writeup and vowed to myself that I'll be that - the catcher in the rye - (if it kills me, may I add) whatever salinger meant by that...yrs truly do accept suggestions and advice from well-meaning (and not so well-meaning) friends and acquaintances on how to go about that...
