Uncle Marv

Who is Uncle Marv? The question has been asked a number of times. Is he a rapper? NO! Is he a Singer? NO! Is he a actor? NO! Uncle Marv is the CEO of Felicitous Records, Inc. He is an entrepreneur and music visionary. As Uncle Marv has put it "I have the EAR for hits". Music was Uncle Marv's first love in life. Music was very important in his house growing up in Macon, Ga. He can remember his mother playing Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Earth, Wind and Fire, James Brown, Sam Cooke and more. He recalls falling asleep listening to the radio station 99Ways. They played more pop music. He listened to artist such as the Police, Duran Duran, Pat Benetar, Culture Club, Prince and of course Michael Jackson. During that period he started to listen to a new genre of music called rap. Run DMC & Jam Master Jay's "King Of Rock" and the Fat Boys were the first tapes he ever bought. He initially listened to music as a hobby but it has grown into a passion for Uncle Marv. He initially started out as the manager for The P.I.T.T.S., Don Ghotti and Songbyrd. He and his partner Don Ghotti started Felicitous Records. It is now home to Otis Lee, Zuri Deveraux, Bishop City and Murray Boy. The roster continues to grow. Uncle Marvin's vision is to see Felicitous Records mentioned in the same breath as Motown, LaFace Records, Uptown Records, Deathrow Records, Interscope Records and Aftermath. The motto of the company is "Restoring the feeling". We want people to listen to the music and bring back memories such as their first love, their first kiss, the first time they saw the sunrise or the first time they made love.
