My name is Lauren Oaks and I recently moved to Columbia from Myrtle Beach to go to USC! I love my school but I hate the city. I live off campus with my wonderful roommate Janelle (baby girl). I am a MBHS graduate and even though the Seahawks lose a lot I am still proud to be one. I love my friends, my music, and my boyfriend Kenneth. I procrastinate but I usually get things done. I love to shop but I hate to work. I love to eat but I hate to work out. I love the beach but I hate the sand. I love to dress up and go out. Themed parties are the BEST! Halloween is awesome but Christmas is my favorite holiday. The Socastee catch phrases crack me up (doff, what's my name...exactly). I also LOVE The OC, Laguna Beach, Wildfire, Desperate Housewives, Niptuck, and Real World. My favorite movies are Empire Records, Office Space, The Sweetest Thing, Dirty Dancing, Wizard of Oz, My Best Friend's Wedding, Disney movies of course, The Notebook, Anchorman, and Zoolander. Some of my favorite bands/artists are Dave Matthews Band, Edwin McCain, My Chemical Romance, Third Eye Blind, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, Unwritten Law, Dashboard, The Used, 30 Seconds to Mars, Weezer, The Eagles, John Mayer, Hawthorne Heights, Blues Travelers, Damien Rice, Incubus, Lifehouse, Train, Yellowcard, Story of the Year, and Marooon 5. I name everything and I get attached to my pets and everyone else's. Oh yeah, and I love my mom, my dad, and my sister!
