Video of my band, The Groovetones, at Brown's Diner, July, 2009.

Jade in Auburn, AL, 1980. Dave Evans - Saxophone, Allen Hinds - Guitar, Jack Fitzpatrick - Keyboards, Vicki Hardy - Vocals

"Wind River Sky"- written by me, Vicki Hardy, and features Jonathan Yudkin on fiddle and Suzi Monick on banjo.

"Bad Memory"- written and produced by Billy Earl McClelland.

"How High The Moon" - by Les Paul and Mary Ford recorded live with Allen Hinds and Jade in Auburn, AL.

I'm a blues singer at heart. Opened for Dickie Betts and also the Nighthawks. Sang backup on the A.C. Reed album "I'm In The Wrong Business" which also features Bonnie Raitt and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Here in Nashville, I've played with Billy Earl McClelland, The Groovetones, and The Rhythm Methods. Had a great jazz band with Allen Hinds in Auburn, AL. These songs represent my country side of Nashville. I hope to get some blues stuff on here soon. In fact, I'm now with a new R&B/Blues band The Groovetones (a reunion of the 1988 version). The story behind "Wind River Sky"

I was inspired to write this song from experiences I had while living in Dubois, Wyoming. I had just graduated from college and wanted a job in a place far removed from academia and Alabama. I found i...
