Hey :) we're Kayla Stephens & Lauren Fenn , a pair of nerdy students who live in London. We love film & theatre, which we'd love to write, direct and produce one day... Right now we're at college in Loughton taking our A Levels in Film Studies, Media and English Literature, which is going pretty well at the moment :) later this year we'll be starting writing degrees at university here in London... We've done a couple of things short film-wise so far, including our first ever film Orange, and several others for Film & Media Studies at college, such as the opening sequence of a comedy, Muffins, a silent movie called The Crook, the weird and wonderful MushDoom featuring an evil mushroom and most recently, London Zoo, a new wave style film about the London Underground. We love doing anything with music, and also filmed a staff gig at college for our lecturers in the style of A Hard Day's Night, and another to fit in with our study of French New Wave cinema, which were both fun... The newest addition to our collection is Anguished Shout, which came out of a Media case study of the horror genre. It's not much yet, mainly a bit of fun :) but hopefully we'll do more soon...
Theatre, particularly of the musical variety is a big love, and we've written our own stage musical; What's Love?. Writing's a huge part of our lives :) we write all the time so its definitely a passion :P we get really into the characters, and whether its stage or film we just really love it... we've also done our own adaptations of Dracula, and our most serious (and highest certificate ;) ) work yet, Tom&Christian, which we're currently writing as a collaborative novel, 'cause we're just that skilled ;)
