At 11:45 pm on a rainy, September night, a scared teenage mother made the biggest decision of her life, she decided to leave her newborn daughter on the steps of an orphanage. The mother was only 15 and knew that she couldn't take care of her baby even if she wanted to. Once the tearful goodbyes were said, she knocked on the door and ran off hoping she would have a good home now. With tears in her eyes she watched the woman take her baby into the house. She then walked away form the only thing that made her happy. She knew however, that it was for the best. As the girl grew older in the orphanage they gave her the name Jenna Dawn Smith. At one, she was talking and walking. At two she was reading. As the months went on she never knew about the 17 year old mother she once had. As time went on she grew more at her 3rd birthday she was told about her mother that had given her up and it hurt her badly. As the days went on she layed in her bed wondering who she was and who her mother and father were as well. Weeks and months went by and Jenna still refused to get out of bed she didnt eat much or anything else. Now she still lays in bed wondering who her parents were and woundering why they left her.
