I don't really like people who get flustered by trivial things, so those are people I don't want to meet. I don't know... people who can remember how to spell my name correctly? =)
KMFDM, Project Pitchfork, Slipknot, Mudvayne, NIN, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Front 242, Front Line Assembly, Haujobb, Juno Reactor, Ohgr, Skinny Puppy, Engine Down, Denali, The Mars Volta, The Police, The Moody Blues... yeah. A lot of industrial kind of stuff. I do enjoy a bit of variety with some older "rock" kind of stuff and some newer "metal" kind of stuff. J-Rock is good on occasion, as well.
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Big Lebowski, Chipmunk Adventure, and um... I dunno. I like comedy, horror, action, Disney movies, suspense, pretty much everything with Christopher Walken, and I guess movies that leave you with a lasting impression, be it some warm fuzzy feeling or a real sense of confusion.
I enjoy funny cartoons like Family Guy and Simpsons, educational shows about animals (particularly deep-sea exploration), and dramas like House and L&O:SVU. I don't know if it really counts as TV, but anime is awesome, too.
Science fiction, fantasy, horror, and thinkers. Some good examples would be Ender's Game/Shadow, Brave New World, Lord of the Flies, The Shining... R.A. Salvatore, H.P. Lovecraft, and Neil Gaiman are all among my favorite authors these days.
I've honestly never really thought about who my heroes are. It kind of seems like I should be my own hero. Edit: I take it back - Tony Jaa is my hero.
