Teaze frontman Brian Danter, is planning to release his first commercially available album in 27 years this Halloween. Entitled "Traitor's Gate," it is a heavy throwback to the days of classic rock. (a la Black Sabbath and Alice Cooper) It features 13 songs and the first single is "Graveyard."

Time for an update! First the Bio circa 2006.
What makes a band? We were just 4 guys with a dream that took us places, both farther and less significantly than we thought we'd go. Today, there are people rediscovering us and old fans wondering what happened. And today we are rediscovering ourselves, our friendship, our music, and a new sense of purpose to do a bit of what we used to do. Money used to drive the companies associated with us, but it never drove us, and it might be fair to say that manipulation by others contributed to driving us apart. We have families now that are more important than the music, but the music still pulls, still draws, and the love for each other most of all, makes Teaze endure. We're not playing together so much as practicing together. Whether we ever do another concert, who can say? But we still dream. We have projects, solo and together that are being explored.
Now in 2008.
The reunion concerts we talked about, except for a Birthday party that Brian couldn't make due to a family emergency, never materialized. Like most of our career, we stirred interest and ended with disappointment. A film that would have included us was actually picked up in Hollywood and then the company went bust when it's foreign investors pulled out. Anybody out there want to make a movie?
Brian Danter is working on and hopefully releasing a solo album this year. It is a collaboration with Jael, who has been his writing partner for sometime. The new CD will be called Traitor's Gate. Be prepared to be shocked and delighted as the admitted dark album has moments of extreme hope. This album will be a complete surprise to most people who know either of them well. It is predicted that Teaze fans and new fans alike will love this long awaited return of Danter to professional recording. It is rumored that it contains a remake of a Teaze song from their very first album.
While it is independent at the moment, talks with investors, and other industry partners would be welcome. Email Jael here to begin discussions.
