A little about me...I got married in June 2006 to my wonderful husband Bert. He really is the love of my life, and is incredibly funny. We're living in the booming metropolis of Lynchburg, where I went to college. I'm a special education teacher for sixth grade math and social studies. Very challenging (and often frustrating), but I love it!

Things that are important to me...my faith, Bert, our rotten dog Franklin, my family and friends, especially those who have stuck with me through thick and thin.
I'm enjoying life and I know that God has blessed me so much!

My Interests

In no particular order- spending time with my hubby, traveling, photography, hanging out with my dog Franklin, camping, enjoying a nice day outside, seeing my family (yes, even the red-headed sister, lol), reading, shopping (this one is on hold right now though), working out, hanging out with friends, going to a good movie, watching my husband coach his football and wrestling boys, talking to my mom on the phone, and the newest one-visiting the Grand Tetons near Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Music:

Yes, I love country music-Sugarland, Dixie Chicks, Brad Paisley, and a lot of other random groups. Also on the list-Eric Clapton, Dave Matthews Band, Fleetwood Mac, and some 80's music too.

Movies:

Bed of Roses is my all-time favorite, but don't ask me why. Bert would say I only like chick flicks but it's really not true...

Television:

Survivor, King of Queens, America's Next Top Model

Books:

The Bible, anything by John Grisham and Nicholas Sparks

Heroes:

I don't necessarily have any heros, but there are a lot of people I look up to, mainly for their faith and relationship with God.
