About Me

This page is left in dedication to Kelly-Marie Lorraine Inman Kirk, who left this world for a better place 2/9/08. After a long struggle and fight with post-op complications, she finally had no fight left and passed on.Having initially gone into surgery for gastric bypass in August of 2007, she quickly developed an infection, peritonitis, and ran into other post-op issues with MRSA. Several attempts were made over the following months to close up her incision, but other intestinal issues occurred which led to the removal of parts of both her small and large intestines. Kidney and liver issues also occurred due to the strength of antibiotics she needed to take. Left with an open abdominal wound, other infections continued to set in and eventually became severe enough to cause septic shock, which led to organ and system failure that ultimately caused her death. Those who knew her were touched by someone special. She was a wonderful woman who affected many lives, more than I (her husband) even realized. She was my wife, my friend, my confidant, my support - my everything. In the end, she passed peacefully, with me holding her hand. After a final "I love you" from me, she passed on, officially at 12:40am.Get MySpace Layouts from nUCLEArcENTURy .COM OR create your own using MySpace profile editor !!!
