"My job is to balance the F-U-N-K"

About Me

I'm a product of Cleveland, Ohio, and left my heart in Mayfield Hts. as I relocated many times throughout the years... Did a short stint in Chicago/Rockford, Ill... Rocked So. Cal. for a minute where I graduated from YUCAIPA HIGH School... Chilled with Mickey Mouse in Orlando, FL, and finally wound up in Las Vegas... for a second go round. I am currently rockin' out with my band Le FreeQ, and you can peep me and da boys inside the casino lounges of Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as Laughlin, NV, Mesquite, NV and Palm Springs, CA. In addition, I also substitute for other guitarists from other Las Vegas acts. My eyes are always peeled to new and exciting opportunities involving music. I play most genres of music such as Pop, Top 40, Funk, Soul, R&B, Motown, Rock, and Metal and so on. Lately, I have been spending a great amount of time in my studio, performing, recording and producing my own music. I've broke off some of my work and crammed it in the music player for everyone to check.

Influences: It started with this guy... ...and his buddies...Funny, but I'm really such a bass and drums guy rather than a guitar guy! So I guess this means very few influences on guitar...First and foremost, from KISS, Ace Frehley! Others influencing me along the way, past and present are Richie Kotzen, John Petrucci, George Benson, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Greg Howe, Paul Gilbert, Michael "Kid Funkadelic" Hampton, David Gilmour, Jimmy Page, Eric Essix. And on bass... Larry Graham, Marcus Miller, Geddy Lee. Drums... Dennis Chambers, Neil Peart, Dave Lombardo, Stewart Copeland. Keys... Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Bernie Worrell, Martin Gore. Vocally there are many but my favs are Brian McKnight, Chaka Khan, George Benson, Chris Cornell (Soundgarden), Daryl Hall (Hall&Oates), George Clinton, James Brown, Teena Marie, Marvin Gaye, Steve Perry (Journey), David Gahan (Depeche Mode), Michael Sweet (Stryper), Chuck Schuldiner (Death), David Pack (Ambrosia). Also, and very importantly, a sincere thanks to a few of the brilliant guitarists and other extraordinary musicians I know and have been influenced by, here in Las Vegas... Lonnie Motley, Aaron Harris, Earl Turner, Stoney Curtis, Jeff Ray, Earl Campbell, Carnell Upchurch, Damon Bartlett, Dana Chaunte, Paul Gregory and Las Vegas bands such as N.E.O., Area 51, Rhythm Nation, Vision, Doja and others.
