About Me

I moved to Texas and the Woodlands/Houston area about a year ago now. Came down from the Virginia/Maryland area. I really love it here!! I sooo love the winters here! How great is 70's in December!!?? Quit my good paying job and moved here to get a break from the rat race, take some time off and work on my hobby of restoring cars. Don't worry, I still do some consulting and do sort of have a job, I guess..I love traveling, the beach, collecting and working on restoring classic cars, eating out...pizza, mexican or a good steak!! among other things, movies, dancing, sometimes taking it easy and watching tv at home. I have a 7 year old beautiful daughter that lives with her mom and new daddy in PA. and yes I miss her. I don't know a whole lot of people here, I'm always very busy with one thing or another,but I'm getting to know a few. I am really not into the go to a bar and pick someone up scene. I'm easy going, fun loving, a little bit shy with people I don't know, giving and enjoy doing just about anything fun! I'm enjoying the relaxed lifestyle of Texas , the lack of snow in the winters, and am looking forward to meeting some nice people to hang with. My Interests

Most sports, concerts, bike riding on the road and mountain biking, motorcycles, classic cars and the occasional car show. Shopping with my girl friend when I have one.. Yes, I really don't mind shopping.....movies, theater, sometimes opera or ballet. EBAY, fine dining, travel, spontaneous road trips, sleeping late on weekends, lazy rainy days with the person I'm dating and a good movie or two. Driving fast and finding and rebuilding classic cars and muscle cars.

I'd like to meet:

Looking to make some new friends to hang out with. I love having a good time, going to movies,hanging out, people watching, driving fast,going dancing. Not looking to play any games.

Music:

All kinds really, except RAP, I've started listening to Country, must be Texas. Pretty much anything I think is a good song or 80's music which rocks! Ok, maybe some RAP, I heard this one Rap song, thanks Denise...and it was pretty HOT!

Movies:

most everything from Pulp Fiction to Gone With the Wind. Some favorites are First Knight, Princess Bride, Say Anything, Sweet Home Alabama, 4 Weddings and a Funeral, Heat, The American President, Man in the Iron Mask, Seabiscuit, Ocean's 11, Far and Away, Legally Blonde, Elizabeth, Mask of Zorro, Black Hawk Down, Tomb Raider, Saving Private Ryan, Philadelphia, Good Fellas, The God Father, the Indiana Jones series, Star Wars when I'm in the mood, even Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, just some..

Television:

CSI, Desparate Housewives, Soprano's, UFC, Gray's Anatomy, Las Vegas, Seinfeld reruns as well as Friends, oh and who can forget Boston Legal, The OC

Books:

I've read some but not nearly enough lately. I need to read more!

So far this year has started off pretty well. Christmas was really great! Great time with the family! New Years was good. Fairly uneventful. Loved the nice weather! I'm really loving the warm weather ...
