| View Show | Create Your OwnMy husband and I have settled in the little town of Kirkwood, MO- it is like a dream come true. It is only miles from St. Louis but feels smaller than my hometown of Bristol! We have two adorable Yorkshire terriers, Paisley and Chewie. We are training them to become Good Citizen Dogs so that we can share their unconditional love with others. We will take them to hospitals, nursing homes, and hopefully schools. They are such a joy in our lives. We couldn't imagine life without them.
In January, I completed my first full marathon. I joined Team in Training, an organization which trains athletes for endurance events in return for money raised for Leukemia and Lymphoma research. It was such a rewarding experience and I am looking forward to completing another TNT event this year.
I am now a certified special education teacher for students with mild to moderate disabilities. I am in the process of interviewing with the Special School District of St. Louis. Hopefully, I will have a teaching position by August! I have to take 2 more classes in order to complete my Master's at Fontbonne.
