Grew up in Modesto, Graduated Davis High School, Started 1st bands there (The Limit, X-IT, Kinesthesia and Next Of Kin). Moved to LA, Graduated Musicians Inst. (Vocals), Started more bands (The Innosent, Souldriver, BOATMAN, JB BOATMAN and now BIG BROWN DOOR). Have dabbled in acting (Michael Jackson Recreation Trial/Head Det. Zeler, Movie The Circus Of Life w/Bill Shatner, Movie Day Is Done, Dir. Michael Kelley, rapper/thug/ Bud Light Commercial, see utube Bud Light Mafia/ commercial for The Loan Specialist, crazy loan scientist, and a bunch of background crap to help pay bills. I don't want to be an actor but I keep getting practically every audition I go to so I stopped going to them. Voice over work (Crazy Town Gift Of Game, played a drunk fan on a secret track 32 on the 1st million distributed/LA Convention commercial, The Detective/Movie translated from Russian to English. Writing, TV Show "MY SHOW W/JB Boatman (Variety show) and "El Gringo de Mundo Latino "My Show" in Spanish (I taught myself spanish in my early 30's),Feature Film "Bluff Siding" Unsold, several other treatments. Used to work for KCAL-TV Channel 9 as Asst. Dir of Sports Mktg. worked with Lakers, Raiders, Ducks, Angels, Forum boxing etc. Currently very exited about the new CD by BIG BROWN DOOR/Our Little Family with 10 original songs recorded in the latest software and mastered by multiple Grammy Award Winner John Karpowich (Santana's Supernatural). Lighting Director for over 1000 Spanish TV shows. This is were I learned how to make TV Shows and Movies. Lived in Mexico for 2 1/2 years Spoke the language much better after that!
