Man vs. Himself

About Me

Our band was started in fall of 2004. Originally a studio band, we decided to play a few gigs for charity. After playing at the 2004 Bill Pierce student show case, the band started out on a new road. Now with the addition of Budda, Jim and Kris we finally have the line up to kick some serious ass! Bill has a long list of career highlights for example: he taught Corey from Trivium and Johnny Hiland, he was in Mike Varneys column in Guitar World, has three previous releases 2 of which are at guitar9/billpierce.com. He was featured on the guitar 2001 compilation cd, did some solo work on Scott Huges 1st cd (also @ Guitar9.com). He has taught thousands of guitar players (even while attending GIT). Mike has been in every succesful maine band: Shy Boy(founding member), Bad Habit, Dee Ritter, Outsiders, Moon Puppy's, Mike Steller Project. Kris is the founder of the Arycolytes with 2 cds to his credit, he brings a wealth of business and rhytm to the band. Jason has been in many top shelf bands also: Cobalt Blue, Shyboy, Bill Pierce blues band, and he also drummed half of the tracks on bill's Ripped cd (@guitar9.com). Jason brings the much nedded heavy drum sound these tunes need to take names live. And Jim....He has many bands to his credit too: Doctor Hicklicks And The Cucumber Band, Off Ramp, Joe Bennet, Cobalt Blue, Bill Pierce Blues Band, Star 69, Shameless, Buffolo Creek, Pretty much solid low end and rhythmically all over it.
