About Me

Born in the rural Central Texas town of Elgin, Cody Hamilton grew up in a musical Christian home. He learned hymns from the Broadman, Baptist and Heavenly Highways hymnals from the time he could read and developed his ear for music while playing in church on Sunday mornings. This multi-instrumentalist (an avid guitar, mandolin, banjo, bass, piano, harmonica, and drum player played with (and led) several bands while in Elgin including 3Apart, with whom he helped produce their debut album, and Cody Hamilton and the Reformation, an alternative Bluegrass band.
From there he enrolled at Texas A&M and is currently a student. His first few years he helped establish the infamous Peacemakers and is currently working on solo and acoustic folk music with members from all across the board.
He is unparalleled in his playing and astonishing at his good ear for music and production. Always apt to lend a hand, he is also currently listed to play electric guitar for Josh Storie's up and coming Texas Country album, and is available for other side projects and studio work.
Aside from the instrumentation and production work, Cody is also a strong songwriter, and this page features songs that he has either wrote solely or collaborated on. He credits God with his blessings as a singer, songwriter, and musician, and strives to glorify Him through all of his musical endeavors.
