About Me

I don't really ask for much from anyone, just to be honest with me and yourself. I don't like hanging out with fake people - I feel that if someone has to put on a front in order to feel 'cool' they usually end up being an idiot that I don't want to spend time with. Even though it may sound conceited, through life's experiences I've learned to have a true appreciation of myself - I always take the time to make sure that I know what I need mind, body and soul. I'm also an optimist, I tend to see the brighter side of things no matter the situation. I'm willing to try almost anything at least once, so long as it's fun. I work at Spectrum Health in GR as a nurse's aide - I wipe ass for a living, YAY ME!!!! I'm going to school at WMU for nursing right now. My plan is to continue at spectrum for a few years gaining experience in critical care or ICU before hitting the road to become a traveling nurse. One day I hope to move to europe for a while. There's so much that I want to see and experience over there that I'd rather move my base of operations than plan multiple trips.

Myspace Contact TablesI love anything to do with music, movies and video games. I'm in school right now, so much of my time is devoted to studying and writing papers. I mainly enjoy doing anything that allows me to spend time with my loved ones. I like to read/write and sometimes enjoy going fishing (usually alone), horseback riding with my sister, walking/running, swimming.... I'd like to go for walks on one of the many nature trails in the area, but I don't want to be that stupid girl who is never heard from again because she went alone. I like to knit and crochette - call me a granny, I don't care. Umm... I enjoy the theatre, museums, and history. I plan on taking up several languages in preparation for a european adventure. Heroes:

First and foremost my family for being there for me through everything. I never knew how much I depended on them, but they are the only reason I'm still alive. My friends for holding my hand and guiding me through this life. Amber, you mean more to me than you know. When I met you I was going through a lot of changes. You showed me what it meant to live, how to find myself, and to be happy with who I am. Mari, you know absolutely everything there is to know about me and you still love me. I'm glad that I have you in my life, you taught me how to smile and laugh again. Kelly, you knew exactly what to do and say when my whole world was crashing all around me. You helped me through the hardest time in my life, I truely don't know where I'd be without you, you are my rock.
