About Me

na veia! The Paralelo 8 has face, courage and lots off sound! We are lucky for that guys have so a punch and still have what to say. The songs are strong and get more power with a well-built instrumental.
They arrived blasting at the 2002 edition of the Humaita Pra Peixe Festival (Rio de Janeiro)and immediately were summoned by Carlo Bartolini (Paralamas do Sucesso, Cassia Eller, Sepultura and Nando Reis, among others) to go to Sao Paulo.
The five musicians got into the producer`s studio and for more than one year stood working at the recording. VOCE ESTEVE SEMPRE AQUI is the name of the CD and it will be released on july, 2006.
Back to Rio, with fingers, ears and throats sharpened by this experience, the band set up a small studio for rehearsal and shut themselves away once more. Now, to create the show.
Invited by George Israel (Kid Abelha) on 2005, they played some of the new songs at the reopening of Teatro Ipanema (Rio de Janeiro). Great show!!! Since the first sound the band let us know for what they come and they didn`t stop untill the end. All at a high level pressure. It`s realy a spectacle! Perfect sound, light-design that made quite an impact, the Paralelo 8 done a powerfull performance with a well balanced program and dynamics.
So count-down, because they want to go to the road to play. The group still envolved with the filming of the Clip which is signed by Fabio Soares and Toni Vanzolini Conspiracao Filmes, and on july it will be ready. Have a good journey!!!
