Staring at Brooke Allen. Laughing at Bust. Writing dem blogz: www.davedavenport.wordpress.com
Anything you can dance to. Not that I can dance or anything. I just think it's cool to pretend.
I like the NEW Trilogy, you know...the one with all the walking around. A close second would probably be the other Trilogy you know...the one with all of the spaceships. And in no particular order: Kill Bill 1 & 2, Pulp Fiction, Kingdom of Heaven, Se7en, Syriana, all of Kevin Smith's movies(yes, even Jersey Girl), Kurosawa's entire body of work, Shaun of the Dead & Hot Fuzz. And recently added: The Departed...do yourself a favor and go see it...twice. As another note: do yourself a favor and do NOT see Spiderman 3, instead go see 28 Weeks Later. Also, go see Knocked Up. It's about this one time Bust got blamed for knocking up this one ch...wait that's the wrong one. Trust me this one's just as funny as that one.
Brooke Allen commercials. Don't have cable... addicted to The Office by watching online.
Any and all subjects, but mainly those pertaining to quantitative finance, economics and accounting. I also read the occasional novel...but I've lost my patience with most fiction. For the simple reason that most of it is garbage. Can't wait to read the Children of Hurin, it's on my shelf but I've got 10 books ahead of it.
First and foremost: Brooke, my wife and everything else that is important to me. Second: my immediate family, they have given me the strength to take on my new endeavors and the belief in myself to succeed. Especially my mom...more than a few people owe her a diet Coke or two. She kicks the llama's ass. Let's not forget a special group of people that has been a literal "Band of Brothers" for me for the last 7 years: The UNC. Not to mention Brooke's parents who have helped the two of us out immensely for the last year. And last but not least: Bill Gates, Adam Smith, Warren Buffet, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson, the guy who invented the Chuggler.
