The name Skinny Smallz (obviously inspired by B.I.G) came to me when back in high school when I use to battle in the lunch room. I use to yell out “young Smalls,†after every victory. I never took rapping seriously though, until I returned home from a Boston hiatus with a demo cd . Katz from da hood heard it and saw the potential. I got into rapping cuz it was my way of getting my point across, and it's something I loved doing. At the same time, I saw the power and reach that it had. I had nigg@z from other hoods giving me daps, knowing about me and some of the ishh that was saying.
I've known my producer Kenny 'On the Track Atisme ' my whole life. He started producing tracks mostly after he heard my demo ( lol ). We began a partnership to build a studio which is now called '80z Babies production ©'. My homie Supa Seres and I go back on long time as well. Along w/ him and Kenny, we released the first mix tape titled ‘Flatbush's best kept secret vol.1’, which features a bunch of my nigg@z , including Tes , Pase and Grand Finale. The mix tape sold a substantial amount considering it was only marketed locally (very local). But I can’t complain , cuz from that came bigger and better things.
I am influenced by the one and only NOTORIOUS B.I.G and I
admire JAY-Z for his business sense.
Keep an eye out for my next project called 'Change ya
Name or Change tha Game.’ Also I should be ready launch with the
official website soon, so stay tune for that.
