Kenny Sommer is a singer/songwriter from HP,Il.. He plays the guitar, drums, bass, piano, and sings. On Edger’s Sir real music released albums he has Jared Rabin, Rich Ashdown, and Bob Remington on lead guitar. rich Ashdown also plays bass on some songs. The music was reocorded at Baby doing the jig, Ambush recordings, gravity studios, wall to wall studios,, and kingsize studio, chicago. Kenny used to sing in the band Marathon Man, played drums for Cash Cow, at garage band.com, also played drums for lounge friend, Mike leachel.com, and Rosewood beach. Jim Derogotis of the Chicago Suntimes, and formally of Rolling Stone writes a review of Kenny’s work in a rewiew in the the Summer of 2004, comparing it to the Replacements, circa the Rolling Stones, indie "Exile on Mainstreet," and calling Kenny a prolific, lyrical, and ernest songwriter. Kenny is currently writing new material, playing coffee houses aroud Chicago, and thinking about recording and putting together a live full band, and doing some solo california touring in april..
