young but not innocent: born in the mid eighties, howard lespie and victor saint boner started a band called THE HOUSTON OILERS. forgotten after a few spliffs and endless noise sessions in a lonely farm house in the abandoned little village swancity near winterhawk, they returned in the early 90s along with drummer carl blend as H.OILERS, mt hal was hired for additional guitar power. musical brutality combined with the sweet soulful lyrics of lespie and boner helped to release an album and a few eps on crippled dick hot wax. a few stoned dreams and gigs later, they knew how to play unison stoned riffs together. some side projects as BLOODBURGER BC and DANDRUFF DELUXE helped them to become somehow deaf and neurotic. a deep reflection and the return to their intellectual qualities, the H.OILERS decided to concentrate on other things as design, architecture or running a record label. as the gentlemen are getting older, good food and breezy jazz is making their day. here on myspace - you'll find a small selection with photos and free mp3s. call it the little oilers museum. as space is limited here - expect a full oilers website somehow between 2007 - 2011. if you have photos or other oilers memorabilia - let us know, sincerely yours, victor, carl, howard and mt!
