Profile GeneratorThe story so far...the band came up to the world of independent music in the year of 2002. First, it was created by friendship between Kocay and Robert, they were from the same high school and had the same genre of music. With the same vision and always practiced band together, they created band with genre new school punk.
After they had struggled to find personnel bands. Finally, kocay had recommendation to get Fadly as known as Kidal to be a drummer. While along actually Kidal and Kocay had a project band, called Sixth Sense (RIP).
The three of them felt the same vision and mission to create this band. And after they had done practice by practice, they created a name band called AKUPUNKTUR. Fortunately, they had invitation to perform one of the events in South Jakarta (Blok M). While they performed at that time, they actually did not have a right vocalist and they used an additional vocalist, adib.
AKUNPUNKTUR also went on and on, and when they performed at Taman Ria Senayan, they met Amin. After taking a long time to look for the right vocalist, AKUNPUNKTUR finally made a decision to get amin to be their vocalist. They felt comfort though with the character of amins vocal and personality.
All the songs had gathered, so that they all suggested to change the name of AKUNPUNKTUR band to be BITTER BALLEN. And from that time, they began to go exist and perform at Indonesian underground scene. They also joined the punk compilation, called NEW BREED COMPILATION.
Lastly, Robert felt and needed a partner for playing a guitar and they discussed about it. They asked Dewo from band Lost Romantic to join the band and Dewo agreed though. And as far as now, BITTER BALLEN have a formation with 5 personnels.
