REMIX REMIX REMIX: I would be delighted to remix some of your material!

240 euros for 'Music For Life' - Aimee's Cataclism on Studio Brussel on (20/12/06)
Yes, I gave 120 euros for the Music For Life action of Studio Brussel. Music for Life did an action together with 3fm in the Netherlands to help the victims of landmines in Cambodja. Hereby, Aimee added another 120 euro! In Belgium, Music for Life raised 2.400.000 euros, and in the Netherlands they raised 2.600.000 euros. Knowing that 100 euros is equal to one prothese, we're very sure this money (in participation of the Red Cross) will be well used in Cambodja. Due to the success, thousands of victems all over the world can be helped with a prothese, so they can go back to work and get themself a new chance for a better life.
It began a long time ago
Karma Shan started as a young guy to play in a fashion store in Antwerp. By mixing some easy-cheap-ass disco, he got his first experience in mixing. After playing guitar which was a great experience to learn more about the inside of music, Karma Shan opened his soul and started with experimental stuff with his little PC.
The time was there to leave small Belgium and get some life-experience abroad. Karma Shan went to Ireland where he stayed for almost one year. On a certain day in Dublin, it was 3am, Karma Shan started to remix some songs and putted them in a huge mix of 11 minutes... 11 minutes, for 11 tracks!
That was his first step of remixing music. Ok, this was only basic ofcourse, but still most of the peoples reactions where quite ok.
After living in Ireland, Karma Shan decided to go back closer to his family and he ended up in the Netherlands.
After a cop incident in the Netherlands, Karma Shan made another mix with a sample from ABN about cops.... As from that time, he decided to make more remixes and soon the first party is comin up!
Staying in the Netherlands was a bad option, so Belgium it was,... Working as a nightporter in a hotel, Karma Shan keeps the nightlife. Although going back to Ireland is still tempting :)
