Even in her early days as a toddler, Cathy K always showed interest, love and passion for music. Later through the years she began to listen and appreciate more the clubbing scene. In 2004 DJ Cathy K teamed up with 93.3 Central FM Radio as a host presenter and a clubbing music DJ. In the beginning of the year 2005 Cathy K felt the urge to explore further possibilities in music. This brought her to start practising on turntables with DJ Sherrif. During this period Cathy K was a fast learner as it was clear that her passion for music was real. Just after only two months, Cathy K had the opportunity to make her debut during small events and to play in some clubs around the island including Gianpula, Velvet and other clubs in Bugibba. After pursuing further practices and experience Dj Cathy K played her first real gig at Red Square club in the heart of Paceville. In November 2005 Dj Cathy K joined Dan Music Agency and was immediately a favourite amongst music lovers and dj alike. Later that week, Cathy K was given the opportunity to play at the new Vertigo Club to deliver a truly unforgettable night with hard, heart pounding house music. During this event, Cathy K managed to deliver a 3hr set which immediately struck all the clubbers present during that unforgettable night. In winter/summer 2006 Cathy K had the opportunity to play for some months at one of the most popular clubs in paceville more known as places where every set was unforgettable how ever Cathy K played at De Niros bugibba where in Christmas 2005 and new years eve and new years day 2006 delivered an other unforgettable night where was impressed by the owner which nowadays Cathy K sometimes plays in this club. In summer 2006 Cathy K played at one of the mosty frequently night more known as g7 Wednesdays at Amazonia where truly was a night not to forget, Apart from all those Cathy K played in other events/parties in clubs such as tattengers, amazonia, miracles, axis, sugar shake, qube, liquid, poxxbar, freeze, places, vertigo, gianpula, pinks,klozet,la grotta gozo,silk and many more top clubs around malta. However Cathy K was noticed by maltas top local djs Dj Ruby who gave her some opportunies in some clubs and he also managed to play some demo mixes on 89.7bay,also she was noticed by the 89.7bay and top local dj dj tony toni where he managed to give her some slots and other opportunities. Moreover CaThY-K is resident at klozet club in paceville which is the top gay club in malta where every friday & saturday the place is turned into a massive music trip,also she managed to do some live performaces with malta’s top singers such as olivia lewis,claudia faniello and glenn vella and also international singers from Europe..also she managed to play in huge events in malta with international artists such as Suzanne palmer, Thomas penton and more.in 2008 thanks to Tony Tony she joined the new agency more known as ice music ( www.icemusicmedium.eu where all the best talented djs & upcoming djs are resident,this agency is more know to deliver high quality clubbing bringing also international djs like chris lake,groove armanda,eric pryds and so on,So be sure not to miss any of Dj Cathy K s gigs!
