The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me.-Ayn Rand

About Me

I believe this is the place that dreams are made of...
There really isn't much to tell. I'm a single mom, which is as challenging as it is rewarding. However, I was lucky enough to procreate with a man who cares about his child and is an active part of her life. What else? I love my family above all things. We put the "fun" in "dysfunctional", but when all is said and done, we're there for each other. I love my crazy friends, even though I have a bad habit of losing touch with people. I especially have a place in my heart for the "bitch squad"...you know who you are. I'm almost 30 and that bugs the shit out of me. Where did the time go?! But, on the bright side, the older I get, the more disenchanted and jaded I become with the world we live in. I'm fairly outspoken, especially when it comes to things I believe in, but I try to be respectful of other's opinions. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I currently have eight tattoos and have more planned. I struggle with deciding which song is the most beautiful love song, "Just Like Heaven" by The Cure or "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel. If you ever want to do something nice for me, buy me ice cream. I'm a self proclaimed bibliophile. If you don't know what that is, look it up. I think that love is a huge lie that people tell themselves so they can afford the mortgage payments. I guess I might be looking for someone to change my mind on that. I <3 Spongebob, crazy shoes, hand lotion and being myself. Oh, and if you haven't noticed, I tend to have diarrhea of the keyboard. If there is anything I haven't covered here and you want to know, message me!
Painting is my one great passion. I might not be very good at it, but I pour my soul into every painting I do.

"Dreams"

My Interests

Because everyone should have the right to be miserable.

“I think that all good, right thinking people in this country are sick and tired of being told that all good, right thinking people in this country are fed up with being told that all good, right thinking people in this country are fed up with being sick and tired. I'm certainly not, and I'm sick and tired of being told that I am”

Spending time with that child o' mine, reading, painting, writing horrible poetry, hanging out with my family, making sarcastic and rude comments about unsuspecting citizens, etc.

The Difference Between Truth and Love

Can't you illuminate your motives to me? Your empty words make a charming tableau. A demagogue shifting pieces of my heart's debris, but your adoration is in constant flux. How many others do you fl...
