LEAVES Military Alliance, Inc exists to help military personnel. Our goal is to show support and encouragement to these valiant men and women. We accomplish this through a three pronged approach. First, we provide a chance to create roots in the community through events and private family dinners. Second we assign a friend and ally to regularly write and send personal gifts while our Service Members are overseas. Third, we seek out situations where we are able to provide "Extraordinary Support" to Service Members and their families. With this these three steps we strive to be examples of both the depth and endurance of Christ's love to these brave men and women.
We build support and friendships through our Extraordinary Care Program. This program allows us to jump quickly when God shows us a need. Recently the generous gifts of our donors and the kind hearts of our volunteers allowed us to: buy groceries for a Military family whose check was delayed, send a portable DVD player to a Marine so he could watch movies of his young son, make Welcome Home banners for a young wife when she gave birth early to her second child just prior to her husband's return, help a young Marine get his driver's license, visit and bring personalized gifts to Servicemembers in the hospital including one diagnosed with lukemia just a week after returning from Iraq, Visit one enrolled servicemember who was unfortunately incarcerated, provide rides to and from the airport for locally stationed Service Members in the program.

Oh, and I can't forget those great brownies you sent me, thank you so much, everyone loved those :) I wish I could send you stuff to show my thanks, but unless you want dirty socks or a half eaten granola bar I can't do much.
