About Me

If you're seeing this, feel free to drop me a line. I'm curious as to who reads these profiles. Whether you agree or disagree with some of what I say below, it's interesting to see what other people are thinking. And if you know how to insert blank lines between these lines below, please let me know!I'm a 35-year-old single white male in Jacksonville. I love living here, in the city I grew up in. I spent three years in Los Angeles and a few months in Kansas City before coming back here. After returning to Jacksonville, I graduated from Bishop Kenny High School; later, from FCCJ; later still, from UNF...........I work in public relations and internal communications. For twelve years, I worked in radio and had many interesting experiences. It was fun to broadcast to my hometown. I remain interested in the media; as a hobby, I have a rather large collection of television news broadcasts on videotape and DVD. I trade tapes of newscasts from time to time; if this interests you, feel free to contact me..........There are some people who work hard and play hard. I have no idea how they get all that energy. I work hard, but enjoy chilling out and relaxing in my free time.......The issue that I feel most passionate about in my life is my decision not to have children. Although I respect those who choose to be parents, it is a major committment and involves making sacrifices. I know that I would be happier not being a parent and being childfree instead. I like the increased freedom that I have as a result. One of the more challenging things in my life is to find a single female who feels the way that I do (and where there's common ground on other areas, but that's another story). Ultimately, I won't give up on my principles........A few things about me: I live in a townhouse with a multicolored interior. I picked the colors. I like bright and vibrant tones. Favorite beverage: bottled water. (When I need caffeine, I love Cherry Cokes with ice. At age 33, I have finally discovered the benefits of coffee. Helps if it's mixed with caramel and ice, though-thank you, Dunkin Donuts) I can't live without chocolate. I am single and have never been married...... My closest friends are those I've known the longest. I don't agree with all of the beliefs that my friends have, but I respect other people's opinions....... I am a huge Jaguars fan and am a season ticket holder. Favorite vacation destinations include Los Angeles (great place to visit, less enjoyable to live there), Tampa Bay and Disneyworld. I have a pretty good sense of humor and am good at making others laugh.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Intelligent, humorous people who share similar interests. Since I generally get along better with women than men, I'd prefer to meet women.
