I have recently discovered just how short life can really be and just how much impact one person can make on another person's life. One tragic incident changed my whole perspective on things. Funny how losing someone you care about opens ones eyes and allows you to re-evaluate your own life. I now look at life as a gift...given to us to treasure for the little time that we may have here. I am looking for someone who would be willing to share this belief with me. I'm not into games. I'm way too old for that! I have 2 children..a 13 year old son and a 11 year old daughter who I live everyday for. I am a Registered Nurse and have a very stressful job working in an Emergency Room, so when I do get a chance to go out, I really like to have fun! I enjoy being around people and meeting new people on a daily basis. Baseball is another favorite of mine. There is nothing like being at a professional baseball game! (Geaux Astros!!) I LOVE to go out and dance. Cajun dancing is one of my favorite pass times!! It's hard to find a man who can actually dance the cajun jitterbug, but if i ever do...........you better get ready!!! ;)

I am looking for someone who is willing to share his thoughts and feelings with me. I don't ask for much in a relationship.....I'm not the materialistic type. I'm very low maintenance!! ;) All I ask for is communication. I want to find someone who I can look forward to growing old with because he is my best friend. Without communication....you have nothing, and unfortunately it was a hard lesson for me to learn.

I listen to a little bit of everything. Country music; hip hop; top 40; even rap!!

Movies:

Don't get to watch too many movies too often, but I'm hoping someone can change that for me!! Sometimes staying home and renting movies, cuddling on the couch isn't such a bad idea!
