The Kashmirs came about in January 2006 and have since been performing in and around Liverpool establishing themselves on the current Indie scene.
The band have recently performed at the prestigious KOKO Club (along side Primal Scream legend Mani, Dj set) in London as well as performances at Liverpool Sound City 2008, Liverpool Music Week 2007 & 2008 and The Cavern as part of their 50th anniversary celebration week.
The Kashmirs recently took part in the Redstripe Music Awards 2009 showcase at The Zanzibar, Liverpool...

The Kashmirs are fresh out the studio after recording new material in Sandhill Studios, Liverpool and they will shortly be available for download on itunes at the beginning of May 2009 featuring new songs "Make It Up to You" and "Love Is the Drug" adding a more upbeat "dancy" vibe to the bands already strong sound.
