Angel Alanis (aka A-squared, Subsonic) is one of today's most diverse and consistent producers of dance music to come out of Chicago. With an uninterrupted flow of releases since 1997, he has unleashed explosive tracks ranging from funky disco workouts to tribal house, through the depths of hard-house and minimal techno. Angel is spending most of his time in the studio working on his full length artist album titled Jukebox which will be released in April 2006 on his label A-Squared Muzik. The album will include a remix of Knob Job and a wide variety of sounds from all genres of music. Angel has become one of the pioneering artists in today's dance scene, having helped carry techno and house music into the new millennium as he continues to push the boundaries of dance music into the future.

He has also remixed for an impressive list of artists including Angel Alanis, Raoul Zerna, Bryan Cox & Filter Grinder, High Caliber & Paul Anthony, The Funk Monkeys, Rees Urban, Jon Pegnato, Groove Man, & Kid Krazzy. With over 20 records under his belt on over 10 labels in only 2 short years at the young age of 22, Filter Freq aka Frequency has become a staple in the world of house music early in his career paving the way to a long a funky future of djing and producing. As times change & music changes, he stands at the forefront of a new generation of house music artists and plans to push the envelope and do his part to keep pushing house music to the next level in the years to come.
