I have tons of interests. I'm sort of curious about a lot of things, without feeling the need to delve too deeply into most.I've gotten into mental health advocacy, mostly through my job. I really am interested in other people, and the problems they face - it's a good way to get gratitude.I've always liked writing and will someday pick up a pen and begin my masterpiece - that's a lifelong dream.I'm interested in performing on stage, as in comedy or drama. Not enough balls though...Karaoke is as good as that will get, I'm afraid.Probably the weirdest interest I have concerns death and dying. I love cemetaries, and creepy places with "feelings." I'm interested in forensic science, and funeral stuff. I don't know why. Legends and ghosts are cool, but so are real people, and real experiences that happen to regular people every day.

The Catcher in the Rye - still a personal favorite - I basically know most of the lines from that book. Salinger just really captured the adolescent heart in that. I like most of the classics, except Dickens. Holy crap! Dickens is what Cliff Notes were invented for! I will admit to reading my share of cornball romance novels too. Nathaniel Hawthorne and Edgar Allan Poe are the masters, as far as I'm concerned.
Number One hero is my dad. He fought in WWII in Europe and helped liberate the concentration camps. He was also the kindest man I ever knew.My mother is also up there on the list. She had a ton of surgery when she was a teenager, and she lives with chronic pain, but she's just the bravest person in the world. Plus, they were married for almost 50 years, and that is rare in itself.
