reading when I'm not mentally exhausted, singing when no one can particularly hear me, and being in the company of good friends
someone who challenges me
The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, The Irish Tenors, Josh Groban, any Gaither Gospel Production, and any classic rock/rock/punk/anything that isn't hip-hop and doesn't suck
In particular, I like The Lord of the Rings (extended versions, of course), the Harry Potter movies, anything involving Kiera Knightly but mainly Pride and Prejudice, almost every John Wayne or James Bond movie ever made, any good action movie with a plot that makes me think, and whatever it is that I'm forgetting at this time
pretty much anything on either the history or discorery channels and fox news; if there's a military channel, i'll watch that too
C.S. Forresters Hornblower novels, Anything Tolkien, H.P., the Illiad, A Tale of Two Cities, The Count of Monte Christo, Beowulf (S. Haney's Translation), Anything involving Horatio Nelson/Bonaparte/the Napoleonic wars or any historic/ancient warfare in general (i.e. Trafalgar, Waterloo, Austerlitz, Thermopylae, etc.)... pretty much any book that i can learn something by reading or get something of value out of.
Anybody willing to suffer and risk their life for something good
