About Me

Home * homeschooling * Family Research Council * Pro Life * Defend Marriage * Focus on the Family * Family Life * American FamilyAssociationWe are the mostblessed parents on the planet. Our daughter is absolutely everyparents dream. She is 8 years old, a gorgeous redhead, and she isfull of love for everyone. She is well balanced enough to wear a pinkfuzzy tiara right out to the sandbox to dig for worms. Everyone shemeets is her friend. Her intellect will boggle the mind, that is if yourmind can function when shes around, because shes gonna be talkin'faster than you can think. She is home educated and so we are ableto enjoy lots of time with her. We are looking forward tohomeschooling all of our children all the way through high school. Our little boy has the biggest bluest eyes and the sweetest smileyou've ever seen. He keeps us all mushy inside. He will turn 2 thisAugust. He is growing up SO FAST! The days just seem to slip away, but we are also eager to see what he will learn next. He loves musicand tries to sing along and he's all about hot wheels. He particularlyenjoys driving them on the coffee table. We are music folks around here. Dylain plays guitar, and drums, and just about whatever else he decides to pick up. He manages amusic store, teaches some lessons and tunes pianos on the side. Heswitches around filling in on guitar, bass and drums at church butusually is on the drums. Laina is the primary teacher of ourhomeschool and also teaches piano lessons part time. She takes careof making the household run and helps out in the childrensdepartment at church. With Adia getting ready to join 4H(horticulture- no farm animals for us) and Violin lessons as well, life isgetting busier. We believe that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the wholepurpose of our lives and can't possibly convey the impact thatrelationship has on every aspect of our lives. It is a source ofindescribable joy whether we are in good times or hard times. It isour faith that shapes our view of the world and is the basis for ourvalues.Everyone whosupported slavery was free. Everyone who supports abortion wasborn. That's how oppression works.

My Interests

Our favorite hobbies are music & travel (Dylan & Laina) golf-(dylan),scrapbooking-(Laina), reading and gardening-(Laina & Adia),firespinning- not for the kids, Hot wheels, Disney and veggietales(Avery).

Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen

Show me how to love like you have loved me
Break my heart for what breaks yours

Everything I am for your kingdom's cause
As I walk from earth into eternity

Heroes: "My King was bornKing. The Bible says He’s a Seven Way King. He’s the King of the Jews– that’s a racial King. He’s the King of Israel – that’s a National King. He’s the King of righteousness. He’s the King of the ages. He’s theKing of Heaven. He’s the King of glory. He’s the King of kings and Heis the Lord of lords. Now that’s my King. Well I wonder if you knowHim. Do you know Him? Don’t try to mislead me. Do you know myKing? David said the Heavens declare the glory of God, and thefirmament show His handiwork. My King is the only one whom thereare no means of measure can define His limitless love. No far seeingtelescope can bring into visibility the coastline of His shore ofsupplies. No barriers can hinder Him from pouring out His blessing.Well, well, He’s enduringly strong. He’s entirely sincere. He’s eternallysteadfast. He’s immortally graceful. He’s imperially powerful. He’simpartially merciful. That’s my King. He’s God’s Son. He’s the sinner’ssaviour. He’s the centrepiece of civilization. He stands alone inHimself. He’s honest. He’s unique. He’s unparalleled. He’sunprecedented. He’s supreme. He’s pre-eminent. Well, He’s thegrandest idea in literature. He’s the highest personality in philosophy. He’s the supreme problem in high criticism. He’s the fundamentaldoctrine of proved theology. He’s the carnal necessity of spiritualreligion. That’s my King. He’s the miracle of the age. He’s thesuperlative of everything good that you choose to call Him. Well, He’sthe only one able to supply all of our needs simultaneously. Hesupplies strength for the weak. He’s available for the tempted and thetried. He sympathizes and He saves. He’s strong God and He guides. He heals the sick. He cleanses the lepers. He forgives sinners. Hedischarged debtors. He delivers the captives. He defends the feeble. He blesses the young. He serves the unfortunate. He regards theaged. He rewards the diligent and He beautifies the meek. Do youknow Him? Well, my King is a King of knowledge. He’s the wellspringof wisdom. He’s the doorway of deliverance. He’s the pathway ofpeace. He’s the roadway of righteousness. He’s the highway ofholiness. He’s the gateway of glory. He’s the master of the mighty. He’s the captain of the conquerors. He’s the head of the heroes. He’sthe leader of the legislatures. He’s the overseer of the overcomers. He’s the governor of governors. He’s the prince of princes. He’s theKing of kings and He’s the Lord of lords. That’s my King. Yeah. Yeah. That’s my King. My King, yeah. His office is manifold. His promise issure. His light is matchless. His goodness is limitless. His mercy iseverlasting. His love never changes. His Word is enough. His grace issufficient. His reign is righteous. His yoke is easy and His burden islight. Well. I wish I could describe Him to you, but He’s indescribable. He’s indescribable. Yes. He’s incomprehensible. He’s invincible. He’sirresistible. I’m coming to tell you, the heavens of heavens cannotcontain Him, let alone a man explaining Him. You can’t get Him out ofyour mind. You can’t get Him off of your hands. You can’t outlive Himand you can’t live without Him. Well, Pharisees couldn’t stand Him,but they found out they couldn’t stop Him. Pilate couldn’t find anyfault in Him. The witnesses couldn’t get their testimonies to agree.Herod couldn’t kill Him. Death couldn’t handle Him and the gravecouldn’t hold Him. That’s my King. Yeah. He always has been and Healways will be. I’m talking about He had no predecessor and He’ll haveno successor. There’s nobody before Him and there’ll be nobody afterHim. You can’t impeach Him and He’s not going to resign. That’s myKing! That’s my King! Thine is the kingdom and the power and theglory. Well, all the power belongs to my King. We’re around heretalking about black power and white power and green power, but it’sGod’s power. Thine is the power. Yeah. And the glory. We try to getprestige and honour and glory for ourselves, but the glory is all His.Yes. Thine is the Kingdom and the power and glory, forever and everand ever and ever. How long is that? And ever and ever and ever andever. And when you get through with all of the evers, then, Amen." - S.M. Lockridge
