I am a "Liquid Chef" (AKA Bar Chef, Bartender, Mixologist) based in Los Angeles, California. I create signature cocktails & menu concepts for various Special Events, restaurant groups, most of the major beverage & liquor companies, etc. Events I have / will be participating in this year: Oscar party for Rolling Stone Magazine, Sundance Film Festival, Aspen Food & Wine & Tales of the Cocktail. I also consulted on "iBar", a cocktail application for iPod.My approach to cocktail making is from a culinary perspective ... I start in the kitchen, at farmer's markets and in my own backyard, searching for seasonal, ripe ingredients.I have also authored a couple of cocktail books, "101 Margaritas" and "101 Martinis", being released this year (2006.)Anything about good cocktails, high-quality spirits, good food & restaurants, I'm all over it!
