About Me

In the summer of 2005, Jonathan and I started travelling through Turkey and Israel, trying to find ourselves or something. Somewhere in the minimal preparation for the trip, we thought it might be fun to bring along some instruments to entertain ourselves and pass the time, while en route. Towards the end of the travels, we both ran out of money, and ended up spending the last few days playing music in the street outside the Blue Mosque for donations. This pathetic idea proved to be surprisingly effective, and Jon and I coasted on these contributions for the remainder of our voyage. This year, we've decided to see how far we could really take things. We've emptied out the back of Jonathan's mother's minivan, and filled it with booze, sleeping bags and instruments. In addition we've found a series of open mic nights, freestyle hip-hop clubs, charity fairs, and potential street corners to share our "artistic vision." We have a wad of money and a full tank of gas, and that's about it. Hopefully everything will just sort of fall into place. As for meals, shelter, drinks and gas money, we're pretty much winging it. We've posted a list of dates and locations where we're going to be this summer, and we'd love to see you guys come out and show your support. More importantly, if you feel like tagging along, the more the merrier. We're hoping to bring back the "go-with-the-flow-hitchhiker-on-the-road" generation, so if you need a ride, or want to play tambourine, then hop aboard. Either way, each performance and the night that ensues will be a garanteed memory of one sort or another. We start in Charleston, SC on Wed. May 31, and then travel north up the east coast, playing along the way, and then playing one show/intersection in Montreal, QB (to make it a "World Tour") and then heading back south, playing along the way, and ending in a blowout show in Atlanta, GA on June 21st. Our goal by the end of the trip, is to play the Atlanta show, with only original songs. This of course, is about as far fetched and fictional as The Land of OZ, but that's not going to stop us. So if you feel like drinking with some friends, or laughing at them, come on out and make it happen. Should be fun.Wish us luck... Chris
