About Me

um... well, i moved to DC about a year ago and i totally love it! i do normal things like work and stuff, and i recently started playing rugby for the maryland stingers and they're very awesome! let's see...i like:hot dogs, crossword puzzles, old clothes, the word "aggressive", shopping for greeting cards, reading, talking about dreams, people with kinda busted up looking faces, raisins, really obnoxious myspace pages, when chrissy drives me home, my brazil nut lotion, laying, short shorts, and my brother and my sister, because they're just rad.i think michigan state is the best school in the world, because it is. i wear mascara every day - it's my beauty secret! i overuse exclamation points and the word "pretty". but that's only because i think almost everything is pretty, and i'm just really excited about everything! i try to be happy and i almost always am. i'm pretty laid back, sometimes too much probably... but that's just how i roll!i really want a boat. actually, i want to quit my job and go live on a boat i'm pretty sure. i think that would be insanely cool.This profile was edited with The CricketSoda Myspace Editor

Music:

my all time favorite band is weezer. and for my money, i don't think it gets any better than when mariah carey sings "all i want for christmas is you". also a big fan of frank - especially when i can ballroom dance around to it at the bar.

Movies:

tombstone, best in show, office space, american beauty, benny & joon, what's eating gilbert grape?, the virgin suicides, clerks, chasing amy, the poseidon adventure (the old one!), wayne's world!, almost famous, fight club, ace ventura: pet detective, dumb & dumber, love actually, mortal kombat, crash, any hitchcock, waterworld (ROCKS!), donnie darko, garden state, christmas vacation, overboard! (totally amazing, Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn @ their best...), any x-men movie for some nerdy reason, and finally, all time classics: a league of their own (coie!) and bring it on (coie!)

Television:

oh my gosh... food network is DA BOMB! so almost anything on there, probably have to go with iron chef america (yeah, i like american better than the original, get over it), jeopardy!, project runway, grey's, murder she wrote, um...

Books:

i read Number the Stars like, 37 times when I was 9... i read too much to have a favorite i think. most recent favorite though: The Inner Circle by T.C. Boyle, or, even better, Apathy and Other Small Victories by Paul Neilan - seriously the FUNNIEST book i've ever read. I was laughing uncontrollably, hysterically. You gotta get it.
