Originally from the Philadelphia area, I have lived in Massachusetts for about nine years now. And while I have thought many times about moving back to Philly, I have met the woman of my dreams, Laurie, who is now my wife.We have recently purchased our first home in Monson, MA and we love it! There is still plenty of organizing to be done, and we may be unpacking for several years, but we are building our lives together and we are happy!So I guess that answers Aunt Patty's question: "I guess your not coming back to Philly anytime soon?"Other than that, I am a restaurant manager, massage therapist, reiki practitioner, musician, singer/song writer, philosopher and poet.I hope to one day make my living exclusively via the creative arts, but until that first book deal comes in, the bills still have to be paid.I have my wife. We have our home. And we have our shared vision of the future. Life is Good!
I Am
I am a Soul who’s not yet perfect
But strives to learn and grow each day.
I am a Soul who’s not alone
But sometimes feels so, even though –
I know the world gives all I need,
But sometimes feel it’s only me.
I am a Soul – like other Souls –
On a journey toward my home –
A place where Love is the norm;
A place where hatred can’t exist;
A place where all live in peace
As we discover what Life truly is.
I am a Soul who seeks my Truth –
To live the life that’s meant for me.
Despite the detours I chose to take
My truth will speak out some day soon.
I journey through this lifetime lesson
Guided by my Spirit’s hand.
I learn and grow, but make mistakes
As I rediscover my True Self’s plan.
I am a Soul – a part of life –
Connected to Eternal Light –
A creative force within the World
That binds all with undying love.
Within my body I live on Earth,
But exist beyond this mortal frame.
I am the Wind. I am the Sea.
I am the Earth of Rock and Tree.
I am a Soul.
I am Life.
I am Love.
I Am.

I walk the land beyond the Sacred Mists;
Traverse the ways of Elder Sages, past.
I watch the world with Reverence, Love and Faith,
And spy the universal die be cast-
As mysteries of Life and Death unfold
I join in Celebration of their Truth:
The Dance of Life: the Rhythmic, Magick Notes –
Which carry never ending, soulful tunes –
Infuse our Souls to sway within the Light
As children, blest by Sun and Mother Earth,
But leave us free to choose a different dance
And throw away the Love we earn at birth!
I Breathe the Secrets Born of Nature’s Fire,
And teach the world respect for Nature’s Pyre!
