I am here for Friends

About Me

Who wants to know about boring me? *points to interests*

Okay, fine... I'm generally a very quiet person, until I get to know someone better. Once I feel comfortable around people, I'll never shut up. If you get me started on music or movies, it will take a miracle to shut me up. Just a warning. :-)

My profile was customized using the Taming the Beast.net MySpace Layout Generator

My Interests

Judging from my novels in Music and Movies, it's safe to say I love... well, music and movies. Love playing the keyboard, though I don't play nearly enough as I should. Damn carpal tunnel. Love reading, whenever I can actually sit down to read. Browsing the internet, chatting, hanging out with friends. Shopping of course, lol. While I very rarely get to, I love going to concerts. And I do so love to rant about idiotic customers from hell. I adore animals, but I have a special place in my heart for Great Danes, grew up with them. Also like Greek mythology. See? I'm boring. I need to get out more, lol.

I'd like to meet:

Long-lost friends who fell off the face of the Earth and suddenly reappeared on MySpace. Anyone who can deal with my usual ramblings and incessant babbling about nothing. :-)

Music:

I'm a music fanatic and I listen to pretty much everything. Favorite genres are Blues and Rock, though. Favorite musicians/artists: Phil Collins, Genesis and Aerosmith. To continue on: AC/DC, Tori Amos, Annie Lennox, Pat Benatar, Blue Oyster Cult, Bon Jovi, BT, Eric Clapton, The Corrs, Cradle of Filth, Robert Cray, CCR, Sheryl Crow, Dire Straits, Disturbed, Eminem, The Eurythmics, Evanescence, Fleetwood Mac, Four Tops, Buddy Guy, Heart, Faith Hill, B.B. King, Lenny Kravitz, Lacuna Coil, Jonny Lang, Annie Lennox, Lifehouse, Tony Lucca, Bob Marley, Maroon 5, Matchbox Twenty, Sarah McLachlan, John Mellencamp, Metallica, Dannii Minogue, Kylie Minogue, Eddie Money, Muse, Nickelback, Stevie Nicks, Oingo Boingo, Tom Petty, Wilson Pickett, Rammstein, Robert Randolph, Santana, Seether, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Smashing Pumpkins, The Temptations, 10,000 Maniacs, Rob Thomas, 3 Doors Down, Shania Twain, Muddy Waters, Akira Yamaoka (who does the music for the Silent Hill games and the movie), Rob Zombie, and the list goes on and on.... and on and on. I love music period.

Movies:

Absolute favorites? The Lord of the Rings, Noises Off, Hellraiser, and Silent Hill. Continuing: Alien, Armageddon, Audition, Bird on a Wire, the Blade trilogy, Blues Brothers, The Bone Collector, The Breakfast Club, Candyman, The Cave, Cellular, The Chronicles of Narnia, Conspiracy Theory, Cube, Cube Zero, The Dark, Dead Silence, Devil's Rejects, Eastern Promises, Eragon, The Eye, The Fifth Element, Finding Neverland, Footloose, From Hell, Ghost Ship, Girls Just Want To Have Fun, The Goonies, The Green Mile, The Grudge, Harry Potter (yes I like Harry Potter), High Tension, A History of Violence, The Hitcher (Sean Bean), Hostage, House On Haunted Hill, Indiana Jones, Ju On 1 and 2, Kairo, King Arthur, the Lethal Weapons, Little Shop of Horrors, The Messengers, The Mummy 1 and 2, My Cousin Vinny, the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, North Country, The Notebook, Office Space, The Outsiders, The Patriot, the Pink Panther series (Peter Sellers), Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, Pitch Black, Premonition (the Japanese one), Princess Bride, The Prophecy, The Punisher, the Resident Evil movies, The Ring, the Ringu anthology, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, the Saw movies, Secret Window, Serenity, Seven, The Sixth Sense, Sleepy Hollow, Stargate, Stargate: Ark of Truth, Stay, Stephen King's It, Stir of Echoes, Strangeland, The Sweetest Thing, Tale of Two Sisters, The Temptations, 10 Items or Less, 3 Extremes, 300, The Transporter 1 and 2, Troy, The Ugly Dachshund, Unleashed, Visitors, When Strangers Appear. I should really stop there cause it's already turning into a novel. Can you tell I love horror movies? I'm addicted to the Asian horror movies, anything by Takashi Miike. I do so love the gore. And pretty much anything with Morgan Freeman, Mel Gibson, and Sean Bean. Okay, and Viggo Mortensen. :-)

Television:

Stargate Atlantis, Supernatural, Lost, Blood Ties, and Law & Order SVU (when I remember to watch). Shows no longer on the air: Stargate SG1, Buffy, Angel, Kingdom Hospital, and Veronica Mars. I'm sure I'll love Firefly if I ever watch the box-set I've had since forever.

Books:

Stephanie Plum! The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Narnia, The Outsiders, Ghosts by Noel Hynd. It's probably better to list the authors: Janet Evanovich, James Patterson, Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Jeffrey Deaver, Clive Barker, Tanya Huff, Kim Harrison. There are tons more... I love to read. Basically anything that has suspense and/or supernatural elements or anything that will make me laugh. And I love fantasy.

Heroes:

Does Phil Collins count? If not, then Milton!! :-)
