WE ARE LOCATED AT 118 S. HARRISON SHELBYVILLE, IN. we have outgrown ourselves and are pleased to announce we have moved to a bigger and better location. It has beautiful colors, private very large booths, amazing artwork and paintings, a projected big screen for our clients to enjoy while waiting( comin soon), new furniture, fountains, statues...basically the epitome of class and cleanliness. Great American Tattoo Co was first started in Shelbyville, Indiana in February of 2006, by brother and sister Joshua and Jamy Carlton. Joshua is a well known artist, accomplished publisher, movie producer and machine builder. He has been tattooing for over 17 years and is still taking appts. He is usually booked up for at least several months, so please have patience in getting in with him. John DeWeese is a tattoo artist newly out of his apprenticeship under Josuha, who enjoys traditional and and is venturing into realism and is the resident piercer. Who has been with the company since the begining, JR joined the Shelbyville crew in July of 2006, he has been tattooing over 5 years and is also a killer custom artist, greatly enjoying just about every style, he is quick to satisfy your artistic needs.
