ABOUT ANYBODY KILLA
The Dirty History of ABK
Anybody Killa has been known in the local Detroit scene. In 1995, Jaymo (ABK) and Jayho (Lavel) started Krazy Klan. They released their first tape entitled "Frustrationz." Mr. Bones (Jamie Madrox of Twiztid) helped with the cover art and shit. Some rumor of a second version being pressed... bt it has never come up as of yet.Krazy Klan continued thoughout the years. FInally in 1999, Krazy Klan released a CD entitled "developMENTAL." This, as opposed to "Frustrationz," was only released on CD. Tha Klan was on Slang Town records at the time, so the promotion was slim to none. Anyway, the CD had two special guest artists, Skrapz and Sol... Halfbreed for those of you that don’t know. They featured on the track "2 Diffferent Krazys" which is a great song. The year was 2000, and Krazy Klan died. Jayho took the alias of Lavel and went independant, as did Jaymo. Jaymo changed his name to Native Funk and released a CD that year entitled "Rain From the Sun." The album is the absolute shit. Special guests such as Dead Mike from Slang Town, Jeremy Methric (Monoxide Child’s brother), and Halfbreed, once again. I think that the CD would have been popular if the promotion was there... but once again, Jaymo was on Slang Town records. After the release od "Rain From the Sun", Jaymo met up with Blaze. Jaymo changed his name once again, this time he became Anybody Killa, and began touring with ICP and Twiztid in 2001. (Bizzar/Bizaar/Freekshow) The Juggalos loved ABK, but Psychopathic seemed to never want to sign him.In 2001, ABK was announced to be in Dark Lotus and he did a song called "Drunken Ninja Master" which can be found on Twiztid’s album "Crypric Collection 2."Blaze Ya Dead Homie wne into production of the "1 Less G in the Hood" LP. Anybody Killa played a big roll. He was like a second man on the CD. ABK appeared everywhere and became really popular amongst the Juggalos. Later that year, Anybody Killa featured in a Christmas song with ICP called "Skanta Claws." This track is off the hook, you gotta get Pendulum .12. On with the story...In early 2002, Blaze and Anybody Killa recorded a song called "Foo-Dang." With the release of this, a release date for ABK’s debut LP, "Hatchet Warrior" was set for May 7th, 2002. That’s right, ABK was finally signed to Psychopathic Records. Blaze/ABK hit up the Mirror/rorriM tour all the way till the end because they went to record their new albums. In 2003, he released his first solo album on Psychopathic, titled “Hatchet Warriorâ€, followed by “Dirty History†in 2004, and “Road Foolsâ€, ABK’s first DVD/EP in 2005. ABK featured on almost every Psychopathic album released in the time he was there. He was also a member of the Psychopathic groups Dark Lotus, and Rydas and formed a project group of himself and Blaze, known as Drive-By, and released a prelude album titled “Pony Down†in 2005. From 2001 thru 2005, ABK had traveled the country on 13 different tours. In February of 2006, it was announced that ABK parted ways with Psychopathic Records due to contract differences. ABK continues to pursue his career, with his new up coming release of Mud Face in 2006.
