It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived. ~

About Me

My name is Amy. I have plenty of interests, but few hobbies. I'm called a "wealth of useless information" by my sister, Beth. I'm the youngest of four beautiful girls
sired by Herb
and birthed by Louise.
The oldest is Melanie; sassy, mouthy, bitchy, and proud of it!
The second is Beth; insightful, funny, nervous, and can discuss anything for as long as one desires.
The third is Joan; sweet, thoughtful, and neurotic, which makes her just vulnerable enough to make us love her that much more.
My sisters spoiled me terribly as a baby and love me unconditionally.
Same goes for my parents.

And the same definitely applies to my husband!!!
Ah, the husband. A man that was willing to take a chance on me even though I had been through too much to be very loving or giving.
And my babies - all FOUR!!!
PADRAIC - my oldest - the best big brother his three younger sisters could ask for. The best kid a Mom could receive! Such a handsome young man, he loves his family very much and is learning that FAMILY is the most important support structure one can have in this life. He may have his downtime, but he bounces back with all the love and forgiveness in the world. Sometimes it's astounding how huge his heart is and then he surprises me with showing me that it can still grow.
MACKENZIE - my oldest girl - the hardest kid to try to read. Extremely talented and funny, she's blossoming into the strong-willed and confident young woman I always knew she would be. She's grows more beautiful with every passing day. Smarter than she lets on, she's got a level head and I believe she will make an impact wherever she goes in life.
ANGELINA - the toddler. She is growing into such an interesting little person. She has these two older influences on her and she's just as funny as they are. Now that she's a big sister herself, she's starting to interact with the baby and learning the limits. She's almost always smiling and is so smart!
IVEY - my baby. My very last baby. We seem to have a special bond, as if she knows what kind of trouble we faced during her birth. She's the reserved one of the bunch, content to sit and watch all the other nutcases in the house. She saves her smiles and giggles until such time as someone has truly earned them from her. She and Angelina are only 20 months apart so they should be a lot of fun to watch grow up.
