First of all let me welcome you all to my space. My namez D-Rich aka Demainn, an upcoming artist straight out of North London. I built my name based on my real first name (Demainn) and surname (Richards). Music has always been a big part of my life but it is only from when i left secondary school i decided to progress even further. In school Music was really the only lesson which i enjoyed to tell the truth an achieved the highest grades. The rest didnt really seem to bother me but it is only soon after i realised the importance. One night i thought deeply about the person that i really wanted to be and it came to me that music is where i had major talent. Drumming and playing the piano. I then took that to a further extent by spending time in my cousins studio making beats constantly. I took it so seriously that i even started to bunk from school alot, azwel az jammin at ma yard an smokin weed alot. The only times i enjoyed school was when i had Music and P.E. Soon during my final exams which i hardly took i got into writing songs. After my exams two of the tracks i produced i got managed to play on radio through my uncles set which brought me great feedback. Another night i got a call from my other cousin who was living in Jamaica and is working in one of the biggest recording studios.. He heard from my grandparents that i was into music, so i sent off some of the work i had done abroad. He loved it and it wasnt long after dat i got booked a one way ticket to Jamaica, i stayed there for a year an 2months. Aswell as working with my cousin in the studio, my grandparents who i was staying with in Kingston,Havendale also thought it would be good if i started college to get better grades. It never took me long for an answer yes. actually i never had a choice lol. I left secondary with hardly any GCSE's. I "managed" to pass 4 CXC's. English lit an lang,Office Procedures, Principles of business and last but not least Music, which covered writing, performance, mixing an all a that. i was so happy with myself that i could achieve all of this within 1 year of studyin which was ment to be a two year course and azwel as spending time in the studio. I could not let none of this go to waste as it wasnt free. I had to pay a big fee to be educated but i got throught it. "Give Thanks to the one up above" every break an lunch break i was studying. At the end of college year there was a BBQ which i performed with new frends that i made. Got the chance to meet Vybz Kartel, he came to perform too. I cant lie--my life in jamaica was great. I had such an experiece. When i touch back down in London i heard all these sorts of rumours about how i got sent there because i was in trouble wid the police,anti-social behaviour on the blocks an all dis ova bull****. At first i had no idea that i would be spending my time in JA as long as i did but it was kool newayz. To tell the truth,i wasnt much of a trouble-maker lol,i was more quiet than anything. but still i know in myself when i was out dere i was doin the right thing and i BELIEVE that me being on that plane to JA "was a gift from above" i dont regret anything one bit. Now that im london im gonna continue to do big things. Im halfway through a course in sound recording. I would like to become a music producer an artist an i wil do what i can to become that, but i know importantly it something that i cant rely on. Ive achieved the grades i want. I have other options. At the moment im dealing with creating my first real mixtape, Cds ive done before was just instrumentals. Now that im putting my writing skills to the test. lets see what the future holds for me. I live by faith,I know the Lord will "guide me in the right direction" I want to thank you for reading about me and my life so far, an hopefully "if life spares" you will see great product from me soon. My Music will be up on ere soon. Keep checkin up. Gonna b bangerzI get my Free MySpace Layouts at LayoutStreet.comI get my Free MySpace Layouts at LayoutStreet.com
