Morkem is a pagan Black metal band from the heart of Kent, England.
2004
Morkem was formed in December 2004 by members of both Marble Soul and Abolition. When Abolition split in June of 2004, Dementrius (Vocals, bass) joined the celtic metal band, Marble soul. Due to arguments involving band members, Marble Soul ceased to exist and so Dementrius and Vannnefrost (Guitar) formed Morkem. The new band aimed to explore the realms of black metal, mixing both old school traditional elements with folk and pre-christian era instruments.
