Let's see...for starters I used to be a athletic-type of athlete and was active in almost every organized sport until I trashed a knee during my sophomore season of football. I was unable to fully recover from the injury to regain the mobility I once had, so I began to focus my attention & drive on weight training and sometime later, body building...that is what I have done (on & off) for athletics since 1984. After graduating high school I joined the Army, where I spent about five years. Initially, I was stationed in Germany where I was able to tour not just Germany, but several European Countries...England, France, Spain, Berlin (before the Berlin Wall was torn down) and many other great places. Once returning to the good ol' USA, I was promptly deployed back overseas to Panama for, "Operation Just Cause," & "Promote Liberty" (Panama Invasion for those of you unfamiliar with Manuel Noriega and all his nonsense). Upon completion of the Noriega/Panama Experience(s), I returned stateside once again to Maryland...for those of you who have not had opportunity to experience the East Coast, try and ensure you make time, if at all possible, before settling down elsewhere...there is nothing like it! After having my fill of the Army I settled down and began my career...DON'T EVEN ASK how I made my way to Kansas, as this is still a blur and not very comprehendible! :) Actually, in all fairness, Kansas is a great place to raise kids. After settling down, I went back to school and almost completed my collegiate goal (still lacking twenty-two hours). With any luck and a little extra motivation, I may finish up one of these days. I've been married for twelve plus years and have four children...three of which, are grown and on their own living their lives...the other is beginning her freshman year in high school. Outside of that there's not much more to add...go to work, vacation whenever possible and try to laugh and enjoy life with family & friends.
