Originally a drummer and percussionist heavily influenced by Funk and Jazz sounds playing venues such as The Jazz Café in Camden and The Hope and Anchor in Islington, London. It was a chance meeting in 95 with Uni pals Cause N Fx that sealed Faze’s fate forever and the journey into breakbeats began!
After a few Metalheadz, Logical Progression and Wall Of Sound sessions at the Blue Note in Hoxton he was inspired to DJ and worked his way up through the small club/bar scene in North London, such as The Dome in Tufnell Park and HQ’s in Camden and has supported the likes of Kenny Ken, Nicky Blackmarket and DJ Sy.
In 2001 he moved to Edinburgh and immediately established himself within the community, gaining residencies and promoting at four reputable nights: ShadowSkills, Obscene, Split, and edinburgh:bassed. He has as also played across the country supporting Optical (Virus Recordings), alongside The General, and playing at Rogue State, Submachine, Fatmess, Symbiosis, Affliate and Release in Glasgow as well as appearances on interfacepirate pirate radio and The Basstrap (Manga). Even further afield, Faze (formally known as Neo) headlined a night at the Blue Cheese club in Rome, Italy.
With a deep love of Drum N Bass and old skool jungle/rave , his style ranges from liquid, soulful vibes to all out tearout madness, quick in the mix and with devestating results!
