About Me

My name is Eddie, and I'm a liberal and an atheist. I probably think I'm smarter than you. (I'm probably right.) If you can't deal with that, go away now. Wanna think about it? Ok. I'll wait.
Decided to stay? Lovely. I guess you want to know more. I'm 21 years old. Entertainment is my life; specifically, music, writing, professional wrestling(though not so much recently). I love these things with a passion, though sometimes I feel I'm not as good at either as I would like to be. It seems like I'm never able to get any ideas(meaning bands, ways to break into wrestling, etc.) off the ground. I'm kind of a nerd. I like Star Trek, video games, history, psychology, music, writing, and wrestling. I know I mentioned the last three already. That shows you how vastly important I find them, doesn't it? I'm probably the only guy you will meet that will admit to staying up all night on a Wednesday playing a Civil War board game.
I consider myself sort of straight edge. I realize so many people lately claim to be straight edge because they want to listen to AFI, get haircuts that make them look like jackasses(come on, the emo comb-over looks retarded, and you know it), and ride the bandwagon, but I mean it. Or, at the very least, "straight edge" is a nice, concise way to say the following: I hate alcohol, tobacco, and all other(yes, OTHER) drugs. I also tend to dislike and not respect anyone who does use any of these substances, especially people who talk about using these substances constantly, like it somehow makes them "cooler." There's nothing "cool" about taking mind-altering substances/toxins and making an ass of yourself. I'm perfectly capable of making an ass of myself sober. If you'd like to hear why I am so dead set against drugs/etc., ask. I don't like to broadcast my past to the world, but if I know you well enough, I'll probably tell you.
I sometimes trust people too easily. I don't have very many friends now because the "friends" I have had have all ended up stabbing me in the back, turning into lying scumbags, or some combination of the two, and I absolutely refuse to continue being nice and acting friendly with people who have lost my trust, and it irritates me when other people do that. This is why I'm so paranoid sometimes. People get two chances with me. I can forgive once because everyone makes mistakes. I cannot forgive twice because people should learn from mistakes. If you lose my trust twice, you can pretty much count yourself at least on my bad side. I don't like a lot of people, but I don't hate very many people. I fact, right now, I can count exactly four people that have reserved the right to be associated with the word "hate" in my mind. Hate is a very dangerous thing, and should be reserved for a select few. Want to know if you're one of them? Ask me.
I probably sound like a smartass. Well, I am a smartass. I'm also a sweet, funny, creative, intelligent, witty, honest person. You just have to get to know me, and be able to get my sense of humor, which can be quite offensive to some people. There are very few people that I have ever willingly censored myself for. I make fun of anything. You've been warned. If you'd like to talk, message me, or talk to me on AIM(which you can ask me for).
I'm also an aspiring entertainer/musician. I'm a singer, I play very little piano. Definitely message me if you might be interested.
<3 Eddie
By the way, if you didn't read all of that, this sums it up nicely:
