Somersault Music

About Me

Somersault Music began in 1998 with three CD releases by a trio of independent bands from Gippsland, Australia, and as the roster grew, we switched to web-based distribution in late 2002. Now our indie music sells to people everywhere - from Australia & NZ, to the USA & the UK, to Finland & India. The website undergoes continual updates and improvements, but the focus remains the same - great indie music from great indie artists.
Somersault Music is run by independent music devotees who believe the musical mantra "less is more" should apply whenever possible. So listing with Somersault Music is simple, and comes down to three main points:
Setting up your listing costs you nothing No set-up fees and list as many products as you like. We only charge a commission on sales, so if you never sell anything, it won't cost you anything. Not that that's the idea.
Your listing is non-exclusive This site was set up to help indie music, not hinder it
Your music is available to anyone, anywhere, anytime We know most indie acts sell most of their product at live shows, but there's always someone who likes your stuff but just can't get there.
If you're a musician who funds, promotes and has control over your own music, check out Somersault Music - it could be for you.
