About Me

The velvety, swinging sounds of Lounge Cat often have been described as reverent satire. This versatile six piece combo looks young - but plays old: Old School Blues, Jazz, Swing, Ska, standards, Motown and Latin numbers prominently fill a bag of roughly 100 tunes plus originals.

This Rat Pack nouveau will swing, swagger, and sway its' way into your heart! Lounge Cat has had six of there tunes used in two independent feature films. While keeping busy around Tampa Bay, Lounge Cat has performed as far away as Big Sur, California.
Eight years of countless events have forged a solid, basis for the band's sound. The band's first release, Jazzy Jump and Swingin' Lounge, is filled with musical selections new and classic. The second CD, Allure, is an all original bag and was recorded the old-fashioned way: one band, one room, and one take! The third, Live at the Zen Den, is another snapshot of their entertaining and emerging sound.
